FINISH:

The original design was cast from an abandoned termite trail found in a decaying stump, in the rainforest gully at our family farm. A love letter from Kangaloon… Something small and humble to balance out all the other statements in the world. Handmade in Australia entirely from post-consumer recycled sterling silver. 

The gold version is cast in bronze and bathed in three layers of hard gold plating.

Sterling silver will naturally oxidize over time‭. ‬Regular cleaning with a silver polishing cloth or silver cleaning solution will help maintain‭ ‬the shine of your piece‭.

Gold – we use a triple-bathed hard gold‭ (‬18K‭) ‬plating process which is more resilient than standard jewellery plating‭. ‬However plating does not last‭ ‬forever‭, ‬and may wear thin over time‭, ‬especially on items with high wear‭. Please avoid exposing this piece to harsh chemicals, unnecessary abrasion or salt.
