A statement bolo tie inspired by a wombat shoulder bone and other osseous remains found on the alpine plains during our collection residency. This adjustable bolo mechanism slides smoothly along braided silk cord to fit your neck size or styling preference. The base silk cord is woven by an artisan collective in Kyoto, before being dyed by us in our studio. Handmade in Australia from post-consumer recycled sterling silver.

‘...and then the water whispered’ is inspired by the connective forces of flowing water, weaving through rock and soil, bone and battered gums, to find its way back to the great oceanic body. Through two winter residencies, one in the Snowy Mountains (Ngarigo Country) and the other in Kangaloon (Dharawal Country), we studied the land and how its been shaped by water, to develop our new collection.

Sterling silver will naturally oxidize over time‭. ‬Regular cleaning with a silver polishing cloth will help maintain‭ ‬the shine of your piece‭.

Keep your silk cord dry as much as possible‭. ‬If the cord becomes wet‭, ‬air-dry it in the shade‭. ‬If the cord becomes dirty you can hand wash it in warm water with a gentle‭ ‬natural soap‭. ‬Never use bleaches or harsh cleaners as this will destroy the silk‭. ‬
